Reception Only Venues
Carlyon Golf Club
Savour exclusive use of our Carlyon Suite and Clubhouse throughout your evening reception, with the option of a buggy ride for the happy couple from the hotel across to the Clubhouse. The Carlyon Golf Club provides a beautiful backdrop of St Austell Bay, and the Clubhouse offers a large terrace area to welcome the breathtaking views.
The Park Hotel
The Park Hotel is ideally located in the heart of North Devon with ample parking and fantastic menus to suit all. The Park Suite can accommodate up to 150 guests for an evening reception and includes a private fully stocked bar, lift from the ground floor and is fully licenced for entertainment.
The Barnstaple Hotel
Whether you are continuing the party after your wedding or having a post-wedding celebration after getting married abroad, The Barnstaple Hotel is a great choice for an evening reception of up to 360 guests. The Arlington Suite has a fully stocked private bar and dance floor, which is complimented by mood lighting available and licence for entertainment.
The Royal & Fortescue Hotel
Centered in the heart of Barnstaple, the elegant Georgian surroundings of the Royal & Fortescue Hotel create a special atmosphere for your wedding reception. Whether it’s an intimate occasion or a large event for up to 120 guests, you can expect nothing less than luxury when you choose this wedding reception venue.
The Royal Hotel
The Royal Hotel is a great place to head to after your wedding ceremony, with a choice of function suites, excellent menus and charming surroundings. For a larger wedding party of up to 120, the tables in the Regency Restaurant will be dressed to make a magical setting for your wedding celebrations. Or for intimate weddings of up to 30 guests, the famous Kingsley Room will be available.
The Devon Hotel
The Devon Hotel in Exeter can host up to 160 for an evening wedding reception in their Regency Suite. The Victorian Suite is also available for receptions, with space for up to 120 guests. Whichever suite you decide, you’ll be guaranteed lavish menus, excellent service and a fully stocked bar.
The Royal Duchy Hotel
The luxurious hotel on the Cornish coast with stunning views across Falmouth Bay will provide a breathtakingly romantic location for your wedding whatever the season. Plus, their menus and wine are bound to wow your guests on your special day. Wedding receptions at this hotel will be hosted in the restaurant, with the Terrace Lounge also available to mingle and sip Champagne.
