Updated Statement - 20th March 2020
We at Brend Hotels have taken the decision to temporarily close our hotel from 21st March at 12 pm for a minimum of 4 weeks. We will be in touch with you regarding your upcoming reservation, please bear with us during this difficult time.
The decision has been taken to ensure the safety and well-being of our staff, guests and local community. We do not wish to put any extra strain on our own staff or increase the likelihood of the spread of coronavirus to our community, further putting strain on our NHS and supporting services.
After consulting with our local Member of Parliament, The Barnstaple Hotel, will remain open for key workers and NHS staff during these unprecedented times where social distancing will be upheld. Should there be more of a demand, we will review this to further assist those doing such a fantastic job for our country at this vital time.
We will continue to monitor the situation as it develops - please check our website for the latest updates.
Rest assured, we have a small team here to assist those who wish to make a reservation for the future or who have a particular query. For those who have an up and coming booking, you will be contacted direct.
We would kindly ask that you’ll wait to hear from us regarding your booking. As you can appreciate, we are experiencing a high number of calls and emails and of course we need to prioritise the immediate breaks coming up.
We look forward to welcoming you to the hotel in the near future and thank you for your ongoing support and patience during this difficult time.
