In the Alcoholic Beverage Service - Beer & Cask Ales Standard, apprentices will learn about:
- Correct cellar procedures and conditions
- The conditions required for optimum quality
- The equipment required to store and serve beer and cask ales
- Basic food pairing in line with our menus and helping to inform customers
- A variety of beers, including bottled, keg and cask ales and their characteristics

Hours:
40 hours per week (age dependent)
Further Progression:
You could continue on to the Management Academy and the Level 3 qualification, Hospitality Supervisor Apprenticeship or Team Leader, with a view to become a bar supervisor/manager.
