As a commis chef you will prepare food and develop your skills and passion for cooking under the supervision of a more senior chef. A commis chef apprenticeship is a junior culinary role, but it is the gateway to start a career in a professional kitchen.
As an apprentice you will learn how to carry out the basic functions in every section of the kitchen. This will give you the opportunity to experience each section before choosing an area where you feel most inspired.
