Meet the extended family: Bell Boy to Head Chef
As part of a new series #meettheextendedfamily, we're shining a light on some of our long-serving staff that really make Brend Hotels tick!
Shaun, Head Chef at The Imperial Hotel, has been working at the hotel since Brend Hotels bought it, back in 1998. Beginning as a young Bell Boy at just 17 years old he has progressed up through the ranks, including Restaurant Manager, Barman & assistant manager but eventually, he found his feet in the kitchen where he has spent the last 25 years.
During that time Shaun met his lovely wife Nicky of 15 years who was our Head Receptionist for 8 years, also at The Imperial Hotel, and now works in our Accounts department in our Head Office.
Shaun has taken the restaurant to new heights, always bringing new ideas and was a vital role in the restaurant being awarded an AA rosette.
Shaun is a huge part of the #BrendFamily and is just one example of our team members who have been with the company for so many years.
