The recently refurbished Palm Court at The Royal Hotel has a long tradition of hosting the very best fine dining in Bideford and has been hosting special events since 1839. You will love the special atmosphere created by the stylish decor and opulent surroundings. The name originates from the original name given to the Continental Courtyard which was built in 1830 and became part of The Royal Hotel in 1873.
The restaurant also plays host to our popular Sunday carveries which offer a selection of two or three locally sourced (where possible) meats, a tasty vegetarian option, a great range of freshly prepared vegetables, and potatoes cooked to perfection.
