Saunton Sands Hotel is the perfect place to stay if you're looking for a getaway by the beach and coastal path. When you stay in one of our self-catering apartments, Saunton Sands beach and the South West Coast Path will be right on your doorstep.
Plus, our apartments offer a variety of room configurations, from budget-friendly two-bedroom apartments to more luxurious spacious ones, each apartment is equipped with all the modern amenities you need for a comfortable stay (and of course, you’ll still receive full access to all of the facilities available at our hotel).
For dog-friendly dining during your stay, we recommended our sister restaurant, the Beachside Grill, where your pets can join you inside or on the balcony (booking advised).
The Imperial Hotel

Dogs are welcome to join their owners when they stay at The Imperial Hotel in Barnstaple. Our pet friendly rooms are situated in our River Court Building, our annex to our main hotel, and are nothing short of luxury. Our River Court boasts 8 rooms, some with stunning river views and two family rooms with interconnecting bedrooms, and all including our 4-star standards.
With the green paradise of Rock Park within walking distance from our hotel, plus easy access to North Devon's renowned Tarka Trail, there are so many great places to walk your four-legged friend on your break.

At the Royal Hotel in Bideford, dogs are welcome to stay in our pet-friendly rooms so the whole family can be treated to a well-deserved break. Dogs are also allowed in the bar area of the hotel as well as our Merchants Bistro so you can delve into some good food with your best friend by your side.
